Helping Our Heroes
In Their Time Of Need.

Our Mission:
The Colorado Springs Firefighters Foundation exists to provide aid and support to first responders, their families, and dependents who are victims of tragedy.

About us

The Colorado Springs Firefighters Foundation was founded in 2008 by members of the Colorado Springs Professional Firefighters who recognized the tremendous void left in the lives of first responders when tragedy strikes.  The founders realized that the men and women who sacrifice their lives, or are injured while saving others, leave their families with emotional, logistical, and financial needs.
Our Purpose

Many of the needs of the widow/widowers and orphans of fallen first responders are overlooked after a tragedy. The Colorado Springs Firefighters Foundation (CSFF) was formed to assist with filling the financial void.  Donations to the Foundation go directly to families of firefighters who have fallen, firefighters who were injured, or firefighters that have suffered great tragedy.

Along with financial need, the CSFF focuses on providing much needed education on how to negotiate the complicated process of Line of Duty Death, ensure the Death & Disability process is effectively completed, workers compensation issues are understood, and general medical benefit filings becomes transparent.  The CSFF is a resource to local firefighters for dealing with issues surrounding typical tragedies that affect them throughout a professional career.
